About Eric

A resident of Seattle since 1987, Eric Robison has the in-depth knowledge of Seattle neighborhoods that buyers and sellers can trust. He has lived in many of the city's neighborhoods as a homeowner.

Eric says each real estate deal presents its own challenges. He takes the no-stone-unturned approach and it shows.

"I had one client," Eric recalls, "who fell in love with a townhouse after it had been sold with four backup offers. We still went in as the fifth backup, knowing the home had some issues to be fixed.

"I kept in communication with the selling agent and proceeded with structural engineers to learn what my client would have to repair. I knew the other agents had not done this for their clients.

"As the other offers walked away, we came in and bought the townhouse, deducting all the costs for repairs. This meant my client got a great deal and has a beautiful home today."

Eric's definitely an ace negotiator. Here's another example.

I had a client who fell in love with a condo that was over the price she could afford. I said, 'lets try.'

"I helped her write a letter to the sellers. The sellers sold to her at the price she could afford and said it was the letter that clinched it and they let her have the condo for less than they could have sold it for."

Eric's bargaining powers get you what you want, sometimes even when it doesn't appear possible.

"I had clients who wanted to be in the city so they could be close to their work. They also wanted a house where they could raise their new baby. We found the house, but it needed major repairs. The sellers wanted to just sell and walk away."

"My clients couldn't afford to do any repairs once they'd moved in. I negotiated the deal so the sellers agreed to do all repairs, at their cost, prior to closing. My clients were able to move in without any worries," he describes.

Eric also helps buyers recognize their true buying power. "I have been able to find homes for many clients who thought condos were all they could afford," he says.

Negotiating the best deal for the seller or the buyer is what Eric has been doing for years.

Eric is not afraid to ask tough questions. His multi-tasking skills, attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines and knowledge of the Seattle area market fit right in with your real estate needs. He stays up to date on housing trends. His dedication to completing all tasks and monitoring the details of your contract guarantee you a smooth journey through the entire buying or selling process.

When he was in his first year as a real estate agent, Eric was awarded the Accredited Buyer Representative designation (ABR). He has a B.A. in marketing, management and accounting with more than 20 years of experience as a producer in advertising for newspaper, catalog and TV commercials across the United States.

His advertising expertise blends well with the real estate world. "My background in advertising helps me when it comes to selling my client to a seller," he says.

He's a first-rate scout with the know-how to find your new home. He says finding a house with good bones is a challenge, but a fun one.

With his advertising savvy, Eric also appreciates the power of the right photography and home staging to market your current home.

"I figure my clients are mine for life," he says. "I want to make sure you buy the right home, but I also figure I will sell it for you one day, so it has to be a home I can see you resell without any problems."
